How to enable or disable catalog mode

Use the organization settings in the web dashboard to control catalog mode. Vendor organizations inherit CATALOG_MODE: true from their partner.

Steps

1. Open the partner organization settings.
2. Set CATALOG_MODE to true to enable the catalog rules, or disable it to return to ordinary product editing rules.
3. Reload the product form. The effective setting controls required fields, generated names, and existing-product logistics access.

Do not use a vendor-level setting to override a partner's enabled catalog mode: the server context merges the partner's true value into the vendor's effective settings.
