How to update products from the gateway

Call PUT /products/:id with a bearer token. The gateway update behavior is distinct from the dashboard's PATCH /api/products/:id behavior.

Standard access: change only the SKU​

Send a non-blank string sku. The controller reduces the body to { sku }; other supplied properties are ignored. A missing, non-string, or blank SKU returns 400 with Sin acceso extendido solo se puede actualizar el SKU.

Only the SKU is persisted. The product name is not recalculated.

Extended access: update submitted fields​

Use a token whose accessType is extended to submit the fields you intend to update. The gateway forwards those fields to the update use case; it does not resolve catalog mode or generate a name.

A SKU containing / is invalid. A changed SKU already in use conflicts (409). See gateway route reference for route details and the dashboard update guide for the separate web flow.
